ACTOR’S RESET | JON HUNTER | MAY 18-19 2019
Get ready for a Radical Reset in your acting. This workshop introduces you to a state-of-the-art approach to embodied acting, and draws on the latest research and evidence in our understanding of the human condition. Flip your acting on its head and tap into the infinite intelligence living in your body.
The work is holistic, empowering, highly energising and physical, non-psychological and non-confrontational, and has been taught to everyone from actors to opera singers, children to the incarcerated, troubled youth to corporate leaders, as has been hailed a ‘game changer’ for Autism Spectrum Disorder by one of the world’s leading authorities on ASD.

In this workshop you will gain tools to:

Create compelling connection to other actors
Access deep, authentic emotion through a purely physical approach

A decade’s experience in the classroom and three decade’s acting experience combines to give you a professional who understands the individual needs of his students. I am a registered teacher whose teaching style is all about practical application, building relationships, and creating a safe, fun and friendly space to explore your talent.
Having worked in many roles in film production, I understand the demands of production from both sides of the camera, which allows me to give students an extremely well-rounded view of how to successfully navigate the high-pressure world of television and film.
Book private tuition or check for available classes here. Private coaching is available for NCEA Drama, script reading and feedback, audition practice, stage combat, improv, Shakespeare and more. These will be held in your home or at the location of your choice.
